About Me

For me, portrait photography is more than simply snapping an image, it is capturing a moment, a cheeky smile, the sparkle in the eye of a loved one, a giggle between siblings or the warm hug of a family. The moments to treasure that genuinely reflect you and your family that will make you smile for years to come.

I love capturing these moments.

My career in photography began after completing my Photography and Journalism degree at the University of Central Lancashire, I returned home to Cornwall and became a studio assistant in a popular portrait studio. I loved seeing how each family’s shoots were so different and creative, we had everything from musical instruments, bikes, surfboards through to pets, dogs, hamsters, even tortoise joining in on the fun. There are so many unique ways to show the special bonds you have and what defines you as a family.

After 3 years here I became a photographer for a family portrait company travelling all over the South West where some of you may have met me before! I love seeing families return to update their portrait collections, showing off new additions, seeing them grow from newborns, then sitting, talking and walking. Many moments I feel privileged to be a part of and one of the reasons I love my job!
